The Major Arcana of the Tarot of the Crone represent times when the Crone is speaking directly to our souls. Rather than addressing an aspect of our everyday lives as in the Minor Arcana cards, the Majors require us to look at the deeper forces working upon our spirits. The movement through the Majors from Fool to World also represents, not the Fool’s Journey as in other decks, but the Crone’s Journey. The Crone is a goddess that transforms herself, both to teach us her powers and to understand the experiences and the meanings to be found in our incarnations, in the lives of her children's children.
