The Beast of Disks is the Pig. Their participation in creation is fertile - maturing quickly and having larger families than cows or goats or sheep. They are robust - able to eat most anything and forage in woods and scrub . They are intelligent problem-solving animals.
Pigs also symbolize destruction as well as creation. They can tear up fragile environments and eat their own young. And they are raised in order to die. The Beast stands for the cycle of life and death, the inescapable requirement of life to feed on other life.
Mentally, we can dream of escaping physical reality and its necessities. The Pig says that's impossible, so what's the
point. Anyway, there's some truffles just waiting to be dug out and eaten.
